Our basic skills computer courses have been designed to help out with a range of subjects, or if you require something a little more specific, we can sit with you on a one-to-one basis for just £20 per hour.
We have created the following lessons, all 90 minutes long and are just £20 each.
Course Information
Basic Computer Skills - Classroom based learning with groups of maximum of 6 people. Hand-outs provided.
Getting Started - turning your computer on and off, navigating around programs and windows, understanding file systems and disk drives.
Email - creating an email account, sending messages, attaching files and photos, replying and forwarding emails.
Internet - using search engines effectively, browsing around sites, bookmarking favourite pages, filling in forms and staying safe.
Word Processing - typing and printing letters, formatting a document, creating posters.
Keeping your children safe online - monitor Internet usage, creating ban lists to prevent access to certain sites, approve emails sent to your children.
Upgrading and fixing your computer - upgrading hard drives and memory, fault finding, cleaning your computer down, defragging, virus and adware removal.
